Sport & Recreation in Todtmoos in the Black Forest
Todtmoos lies in the centre of the Southern Black Forest and is an ideal starting point for many small and larger excursions in the area. Theme parks for families, lakes offering watersport activities, small farming villages, impressive churches and historical old towns are all destinations worth discovering. Regardless of whether by car, bus or mountain bike, on horseback or by foot – explore the region at your own pace.
The open air pool Aqua-Treff is the place to meet the whole family in Summer. Paddling pools, swimmer and non-swimmer pools, a children's play area and even a huge sunbathing area ensure an untroubled and undisturbed summertime. Several courts are available for tennis fans during the warm summer months. Try the Todtmoos tennis club closeby to the sports field (register at the minigolf course) or the courts at Hotel Rößle. You can also play all year-round on the indoor courts at the Höchenschwand Tennis Centre.
Football, fishing, bowling, mini-golf, dancing, walking, skating and of course cycling, horse-riding and an aerial assault course. Be adventurous or just relax.
Todtmoos makes it possible, regardless in which season. In winter there is a choice of skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, taboggoning, snowshoeing and ice-skating in the ice rink in Herrischried, only a few kilometres away. Or just enjoy a horse and sled carriage tour through the snow and let childhood dreams come true.
